Brought home in literal basket

Current plans are up (way up) in the air. If all goes well, which is rarely does in my shop, I plan to create a mild/wild hot rod. I am looking at a frame transplant (S-10, Dakota....) or scratch built frame. I want the safety of disc brakes, comfort of power steering and power of a V-8, turbo 6, or maybe some other odd configuration. I have a line on an Olds 455 big block (not sure if that will fit but it would sure be waaayyyyyy coooooool!
I currently have no bed, rear fenders, or frame. Basically what you see in these pics is what you get. I do have two of the same sided running boards (darn!) But, compared to what else I will have to find I figure that is a minor inconvenience.
